28th edition of the Conference of Parties (COP)

The 28th edition of the Conference of Parties (COP) in Dubai presented an opportunity to progress on climate negotiations and advance on developments through lenses of youth action, business development and policy initiatives. The Presidency facilitated a historic agreement to operationalize and capitalize funding for Loss and Damage, supporting those on the front lines of the climate crisis with $726 million pledged.

Through various delegation opportunities, there was participation in the implementation of global solutions and mobilization of sustainable capital through various pledges and declarations. These delegation opportunities included COP 28, World Climate Summit, Climate Action Innovation Zone, COY 18, Reaching the Last Mile Forum and LCOY in the Middle East.
The multifaceted approach, positioned at the intersection of corporate responsibility and climate advocacy, helped to drive positive change on both fronts.
